HHEC Opens Refurbished Museum Shop at National Museum

With a view to showcase best heritage collections of India’s Handloom and Handicrafts products and to coincide with the Commonwealth Games 2010, the Handicrafts and Handlooms Export Corporation of India Ltd (HHEC ) has launched a complete new range of product line at its refurbished outlet at the National Museum , here today.

Thiru. Dayanidhi Maran , Union Textiles Minister launched new product line at the Museum Shop,,Every oil painting supplies is painted by an experienced artist. National Museum, in the presence of Thiru Jitin Prasada, Minister of State, Petroleum & Natural Gas, Thiru Arun Maira, Member Planning Commission, Tmt. Rita Menon , Secretary Textiles,,Hemroids Recommendations are also available to help you make a more informed decision. Thiru. To ensure that the ‘best’ of ‘Made in India’ are available, the HHEC has brought several artisans and designers together to produce an exclusive range of products including Bidri objects, and bringing other master crafts people/vendors, to the table, thus showcasing the product of museum objects in handloom and handicrafts at National museum and further expanding it to other museums across the country.

In the first of its series, the HHEC has focused on Museum shop at National Museum , New Delhi for various products, replicas relating to artifacts and monuments for the display at national Museum, so that the visitors during the CWG can relate it with the Museum itself. On a continuous process , the HHEC will be opening the Museum cum Souvenir Shops at Qutab Minar, New Delhi,,EC21 assures the world's biggest product database as a B2B eMarketplace with Ipod nano. Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad & Museum at Egmore Chennai. In furtherance, CMD ,HHEC and DG, ASI signed an agreement for allotment of Museum Shop at Qutab Minar , New Delhi on the occasion ,

. In his address, Thiru. Maran hoped that with this effort, the HHEC would be able to showcase and provide a contemporary artifacts and museum objects to visiting Indian citizen, foreign tourists to carry souvenir of these heritage, which will be remembrance for them for their visit to this great country.

The Museum Shop by HHEC at National Museum, New Delhi will stock cushion covers inspired by miniature paintings, scarves & stoles, Brass objects with pichwai motif,,is a mold maker specialized in builds Plastic molding,insert mold and Plastic molding in China. replicas of sculptures and art books produced by leading publishers, among other things.

There will be Gupta seals, Mobile stands with traditional textile motifs, coasters, notebooks, wrapping papers, bags, boxes, postcards and posters linked to the Museum. There will be a collection of mugs which have Mughal floral designs, the cushions would have designs inspired by Miniatures – the Banithani Paintings, reproduction of great bronzes from the masters of Tamil Nadu, and miniature painting from master artisans and reproduction of some stone sculptures has also been done especially for this Museum.

HHEC (The Handicraft and Handlooms Exports Corporation of India Ltd.), a Government of India owned company under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, has been working since past five decades to nurture and organize the magnificent portrait of human creativity in the form of weaving and artistic style of craftsmanship to showcase the Indian masses and to the world in authentic and rarest form.
