Sharp's Japanese LED Bulbs Have Adjustable Color


Sharp is releasing nine new LED lamp models for the Japanese market, which it says are highly-efficient, mercury-free, and contain 40,000 hours of service life.

These LED lamps have the same screw base as conventional incandescent lighting,Countertops are areas where food preparation is often done. The lamps come in various lighting colors so consumers will be able to choose among the warmer, dimmer and brighter whites.

No word on if and when the lamps will be available outside Japan. Pricing information was not released.
