The state is averaging between 3,000 and 5,000 pounds a day and RAM is close to reaching 200,000 pounds this year. Last year Ram recycled 50,000 pounds of lights.With the lighting change, the church will Led lamp save more than $180 a year in energy costs. However, the payback for these changes will be in 10 years, as the bulb project is costing the church $1,700, Brothers said.
